
Garlic Shrimp Recipe
🧄 Garlic Shrimp
Serves: 3–4
Total Time: 10–12 minutes
Ingredients

400 g shrimp, peeled & deveined
-
4–6 cloves garlic, minced
-
2 tbsp butter
-
1–2 tbsp olive oil
-
½ tsp paprika (optional)
-
½ tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
-
Salt & black pepper, to taste
-
½ lemon (juice)
-
Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
1. Prep the shrimp
-
Pat shrimp dry so they sear well.

Season lightly with salt, pepper, and paprika (if using).
2. Cook the shrimp
-
Heat a skillet over medium-high heat.

Add olive oil.
-
Cook 1½–2 minutes per side, until pink and just cooked through.

Transfer shrimp to a plate.
3. Make the garlic butter sauce
-
Reduce heat to medium.
-
Add butter to the skillet.
-
Once melted, add the garlic and sauté 20–30 seconds until fragrant (don’t brown it).

Optional: add red pepper flakes for heat.
4. Finish the dish

Add the cooked shrimp back to the pan.

Toss in the garlic butter for 30 seconds.

Squeeze in lemon juice, taste, and adjust seasoning.

Garnish with parsley.

Rice (white, brown, or coconut rice)

Add ¼ cup white wine before the butter for a scampi-style flavor.
* 1/3 cup butter
* 1 1/2 to 2 pounds large shrimp, peeled and deveined
* 4 to 6 medium cloves garlic, crushed and minced
* 1/3 cup chopped fresh parsley
* 2 to 3 tablespoons lemon juice
* salt, to taste
Instructions:
In a large skillet, heat butter over medium heat until butter stops foaming, about 30 to 45 seconds.
Add the parsley, lemon juice, and salt; stir well.
