Base

Creamy Sauce

  • 1 cup heavy cream (or half-and-half for lighter)

  • ½ cup chicken broth or seafood broth

  • ½ teaspoon smoked paprika

  • ¼ teaspoon cumin

  • ½ teaspoon Cajun or Creole seasoning

  • ½ teaspoon sugar (balances acidity)

  • Juice of ½ lemon

  • ¼ cup chopped parsley


Instructions

1. Season the seafood

Toss shrimp and crawfish with Cajun seasoning, paprika, garlic powder, cayenne, salt, and pepper. Set aside.


2. Sauté the aromatics

  1. In a heavy skillet, melt butter with olive oil.

  2. Add onion, bell pepper, and celery; sauté 5–7 minutes until softened.

Instructions
